Kakimori Mini Nib Holder - Forest

The petite nib holder is compact yet thoughtfully designed with optimal thickness, length and balance for writing. We created it to inspire all ages to discover the joy of writing with dip pens.

Each nib holder is crafted from Japanese maple wood and finished with a plant-based oil that meets the highest international safety standards. Applied by the skilled hands of craftspeople, the finish evolves with time and use, enhancing the natural texture and grain of the maple for lasting writing pleasure.

Use and Care:

  • To prevent distortion and discolouration, avoid soaking in water, sudden temperature changes or extreme heat, and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
  • Due to the nature of the material and treatment, grain and colour will vary between pieces.
  • Insert into the nib holder with a gentle twist until fully seated. To remove, twist and pull slowly — forceful removal may dislodge the nib mount.
  • After rinsing, shake well in a downward motion to remove any water or ink from the nib mount before inserting a nib.
