Postcard Set
This postcard set features drawings by printmaker and artist Makoto Matsubayashi, who is based in Kochi Prefecture.
The set includes four types of cards.
Three are standard postcard size, featuring:
– a dark blue background with white flowers and light blue free-flowing lines by Matsubayashi,
– a silver background scattered with white flowers, and
– a black background with dots and tiny flowers.
The fourth is a die-cut card shaped like a pink flower.
All of the designs were created specifically for the Hobonichi Techo 2026. The cards are printed on matte paper with a softly textured finish.
The warmth and cheerfulness of Matsubayashi’s floral artwork make these cards perfect for including with gifts or celebratory messages. They come in a translucent glassine envelope, making the set itself a lovely gift as well.
