Kaweco Piston AL SPORT Starter Set Fountain Pen - Bordeaux

Kaweco Piston AL SPORT Starter Set Fountain Pen - Bordeaux

Like velvet in your hand

The Piston Sport AL series is getting even more colourful: Just in time for the holidays, our metallic piston fountain pen appears in a new, luxurious look. The red anodized surface of the robust aluminum housing is extremely durable and gives the pen a high-quality feel. It harmonises perfectly with the golden elements and gives the writing instrument a particularly elegant character. The perfect balance between weight and diameter of the piston fountain pen also ensures that the hand does not tire even after long periods of writing.

The transparent ink window keeps an eye on the ink level at all times. If the ink is used up, the piston fountain pen can be refilled quickly and easily thanks to the particularly smooth-running filling mechanism. This filling system also allows the use of inks in an unsurpassed variety of colors, as there are many ink colors that are filled exclusively in jars.

The Kaweco Sport Piston Fountain Pen is available as a starter set for ready-to-use use with a 32 ml ink jar in the colour royal blue or as a pure writing instrument without additional ink.

Kaweco makes history

The history of Kaweco dates back to 1883. Over time, there have been many different systems for filling a fountain pen. While ink cartridges are mainly used today, the piston mechanism can be used to draw the ink directly from the glass into the integrated ink chamber of the fountain pen. This is how our Sport Piston Filler makes ink cartridges obsolete.

Well thought-out compact

The Kaweco Sport piston fountain pen is the smallest of its kind due to the sophisticated and compact mechanics in terms of pen size and ink filling volume. The iconic pocket fountain pen has a size of only 10.5 cm when closed and grows to a normal size of 13 cm when the cap is tucked on. The small size makes it ideal for on the go and ensures a long and pleasant typing experience.

The fountain pen is available with a gold-plated steel nib in our five nib thicknesses from extra-fine (EF) to extra-wide (BB). The 190 spring unit can also be easily replaced afterwards. In the elegant round box in the classic Kaweco design, the Kaweco Piston Sport AL Bordeaux is an ideal gift for the holidays.
